How do we shift from "Me" to "We"?

Posted on Mar 27th, 2008 by Bahamut : dragon king Bahamut
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 27, 2008:

The "we" is there already. The only thing is that it hides in the shadows, hiding from the "me" that has overpowered it for so long. People are currently looking out for themselves, and that is why we have this whole "me" mentality. Nobody stops to think about how things would be with companionship. Think back to the last time you spoke to some stranger on the street. It's a long time ago huh? That's because of the whole "me" mentality.

'I need to get there on time. I need to not talk to people because they might be mean.' It's fear that plays in here. We are afraid to get close to anybody new. We need to step out of these habits and live more like...flowers. On the rare occasions when we do stop to look at the garden, we look at the whole thing. But we don't look at each individual flower. Do you think that flowers care about what flower is nearest them, or try to shy away from each other. No, they share the ground they grow in, and the make a good environment within the garden in which they all live. What we need to do is live more like flowers and less like humans.

Nice speech, altough i would said less selfish and more uh brave to face the problems of both you and others? Well i don't really know a word for it, but still something. I think that is more like, how to make ants become monsters, yet the ants don't really think much, they need leaders. People usualy are afraid, are more like cowards, but if they have somebody to show them the way, in a way that will make sense to them and also give them hope and determiantion, than you can move the masses literaly, thing is, where are the leaders when we need them haha.
Well i’m willing to ttry, what about you?
