What would you do if you had $10 million in the bank?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 29, 2007:
If I had $10 million in the bank, there's not much I'd really want to do. I feel that if a person has too much money, they become corrupt (with a few notable exceptions). Really, all I'd do is give my parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles, enough money to pay off all their debts, mortgages, and cars. I'd also pay off my car. Then I'd buy me parents a summer home in Burlington Vermont right on the edge of Lake Champlain. After that, everything else would stay in the bank. I would take out enough each year for four years so that I could pay for college, and that's it. The rest would be money for absolute emergency, and maybe if I decide to have kids I could use if for their college education.
